Zakopane

The largest town in the immediate vicinity of the Tatra Mountains, a large winter sports center, commonly referred to as the winter capital of Poland. The city is dominated by Giewont (1894 m above sea level)

Giewont

Giewont (1895 m above sea level) is one of the most popular peaks in Poland. This is the famous so-called "Sleeping Knight", towering over the Zakopane Valley, clearly visible from many places in Zakopane. Giewont is an undoubted symbol of the Tatras, on its top there is a 15-meter cross.

Gubałówka

Gubałówka (1126 m a.s.l.) - a peak reached by a funicular railway from Zakopane. From its ridge, there is a panorama of the entire Polish Tatra Mountains and Zakopane, as well as Podhale, Pieniny, Gorce and Beskid Żywiecki together with their Slovak part. From Gubałówka there is a walking Papal Trail to Butorowy Wierch (1160 m).

Kasprowy Wierch

Kasprowy Wierch (1987 m above sea level) - a peak in the Western Tatras, to which a cable car runs from Kuźnice. Kasprowy Wierch is a well-known ski resort. At the top there is a meteorological observatory and the highest located restaurant in Poland.

Morskie Oko

Morskie Oko - is the largest (approx. 35 ha) and one of the most famous Tatra lakes. It is located in the upper parts of the Rybi Potok Valley, which is part of the general Białka Valley. The trip starts at Palenica Białczańska.

Polana Rusinowa

Polana Rusinowa (approx. 1200 m above sea level) - is fantastically situated at the foot of the High Tatras. From here you can see Gerlach, Wysoka or Rysy. Once you enjoy the panorama, it is worth letting yourself be seduced by the smells emanating from the shepherd's hut. Freshly made oscypek and bundz are a "must eat" in the Podhale region.

The Marian Sanctuary in Wiktorówki

Marian Sanctuary in Wiktorówki, Sanctuary of Our Lady Queen of the Tatras or Our Lady of Jaworzyńska - sanctuary in Wiktorówki in the High Tatras. It is located in the Tatra National Park, in the immediate vicinity of Rusinowa Polana.

Koscielisko Valley

The Kościeliska Valley - has numerous admirers. It is sometimes considered one of the most beautiful Tatra valleys, rich in natural attractions and historical monuments (approx. 9 km long). There are several caves in the valley (including Mroźna, Mylna, Smocza Jama) and a shelter on Hala Ornak.

Chochołowska Valley

The Chochołowska Valley is the longest and largest valley in the Polish Tatras, it is about 10 km long. It is an ideal place for gentle walks with children, and at the same time a great place to go to the higher parts of the Western Tatras.

Wielka Krokiew

Wielka Krokiew - ski jumping hill. It is the oldest and the biggest ski jumping hill in Poland.

Rafting on the Dunajec

Rafting on the Dunajec is a seasonal attraction that lasts from April 1 to October 31. Dunajec rafting starts in Sromowce-Kąty or Sromowce Niżne and ends in Szczawnica or Krościenko nad Dunajcem. The first route to Szczawnica is shorter and takes 2 hours and 15 minutes. There are 18 kilometers to swim.
